Please note map shows areas of concern that will require coordination above and beyond typical processes. If you have any uncertainty surrounding the boundaries, what coordination is required, or if there are any other questions related to coordination, please feel free to reach out to any of us. Construction is expected to take 3-4 years, with major construction activities at Great Northern Way and Thornton, as well as along Broadway at each of the station locations: - Between Main St and Quebec - Between Yukon and Cambie - Between Laurel and Oak - Between Hemlock and Granville - Between Cypress and Yew Broadway is expected to have full time bus lanes leading up to the construction sites and only 3-4 travel lanes through station locations. The contractor’s construction scheme may also include utilities relocation that could impact areas within a block around the station (e.g. at 8th and Main St, Cambie between Broadway and 10th). Although the majority of the work will be along Broadway, the detouring traffic will need to be accommodated on alternate routes: - 12th Ave - Great Northern Way/2nd/6th/4th - Possibly 16th Ave as well, and in the False Creek area As we are planning for work for 2020 and onward, please be mindful of any planned construction near Broadway Subway Project footprint with particular focus on all E/W and N/S arterial. Development falling along one of the identified areas below will be subject to changes in street-use availability during construction.
